Other Operations
Adjusting the Anti-Roll Plate
You can adjust the angle (lateral inclination) and position of the glass of the Anti-Roll Plate.
Adjusting the Forward/Backward Position of the
Anti-Roll Plate
Turning the forward/backward adjustment screw moves the Anti-Roll
Plate forward/backward.
Turn the screw counterclockwise to move the Anti-Roll Plate forward,
or turn it clockwise to move the Anti-Roll Plate backward.
If the Anti-Roll Plate falls sharply, its front end may get contact
with the disposable blade and broken. This may lead to scatter of
glass fragment and cause injury. The broken Anti-Roll Plate may
also interfere with production of good sections or cause damage
to blocks.
Adjusting the Angle (Lateral Inclination) of the
Anti-Roll Plate
Adjust the angle adjustment screw with the provided Allen wrench
(2.5mm) until the Anti-Roll Plate lies parallel with the disposable
blade.
Perform this adjustment if fan-shaped tissue samples are
collected or tissue samples get caught either at the left or right.
