The corresponding BLOQUEIO operator control LED flashes during this 3 second
timing period while the BLOQUEIO operator control pushbutton is pressed. This
flashing indicates a pending pulsing of Relay Word Bit PB5, regardless of the setting
of corresponding SEL
OGIC Control Equation setting LED5.
If the BLOQUEIO operator control pushbutton is released before 3 seconds, the
corresponding LED stops flashing and Relay Word Bit PB5 is not pulsed. The LED
returns to its regular operation, per SEL
OGIC Control Equation setting LED5 (see
Figure 1.44).

ABRIR and FECHAR Operator Control Pushbutton Outputs
Figure SECTION 1: .35 and Figure SECTION 1: .36 describe the operation of the FECHAR
and ABRIR operator control pushbutton outputs, respectively. Note the programmable time
delays (PB8D and PB9D, respectively), whereby the operator control can be pressed
momentarily and the corresponding Relay Word bit (PB8 or PB9) asserts to logical 1 for one
processing interval after the time delay. Also note the interlocking between the FECHAR and
ABRIR pushbuttons as described in
Figure SECTION 1: .35 and Figure SECTION 1: .36,
whereby a pending close can be turned off by pressing the ABRIR pushbutton and a pending trip
can be turned off by pressing the FECHAR pushbutton.
The corresponding RELIGADOR FECHADO and RELIGADOR ABERTO LEDs (controlled by
SEL
OGIC settings LED8 and LED9, respectively) are independent of the FECHAR and ABRIR
operator control pushbuttons, unless the FECHAR or ABRIR operator control pushbutton is
