Recloser Wear Monitor = Y:
The recloser wear monitor must be set at a higher level, with the SET G command (see the SEL-351P
Manual Técnico). This setting is usually selected if a circuit breaker is connected to the SEL-351P
instead of a GVR recloser.
Recloser Wear Monitor = N:
The recloser wear monitor is turned off.
Recloser Wear Monitor = AUTO:
This setting is usually selected if a GVR recloser is connected to the SEL-351P. Enter the following
setting:
Setting Default Range Incr.
Interrupt rating 6000 6000, 8000, 12000 Amps primary 1

Make these settings by finding your recloser model in
Table 10 and then entering the corresponding
settings.
• This setting is hidden and nonoperative if Recloser Wear Monitor ≠ AUTO.
