Static preset You need the “20 Setup MFx” and “22 Setup Preset Static” modules to
execute a static preset.
1. Select the “[Input] Preset Static” parameter in module 20.
2. Enter the desired initialization value in module 22. The unit of the pre-
set value corresponds to the “Resolution” parameter setting.
3. Move the vehicle to the initialization position.
4. Activate the MF1 multifunctional input, e.g., using a proximity switch,
a photoelectric sensor, or a switch.
5. The output value of the distance measuring device corresponds to the
set value for “Preset” at the initialization position.
Dynamic preset You need the “5 Distance/i2w, Preset Dyn/o2w” module to execute a
dynamic preset.
1. Send the desired initialization value to the distance measuring device
via bits 0 and 29 of the output data. The unit of the preset value corre-
sponds to the “Resolution” parameter setting.
2. Move the vehicle to the initialization position.
3. Trigger the “Preset” function via bit 31 of the output data. Bit 31 can be
set via a proximity switch, a photoelectric sensor, a switch or the control.
4. The output value of the distance measuring device corresponds to the
set value for “Preset” at the initialization position.
