5.2.3 Entering PLC data in ASCII format
This function is not active as standard; it must be configured by the machine
manufacturer. Please read the machine manufacturer’s operator’s guide.
If this function is configured accordingly, you can input texts - as for example
tool designations - in plaintext into the control and edit them.
The following rules for operation apply:
• You cannot input more than 27 characters per line.
• With the INPUT key the current text is overwritten left-justified with the
contents of the input line.
• The text line is deleted with the CANCEL key.
