8.2.1 Alarm groups
The alarms are divided into alarm groups.
• General alarms
• Axis-specific alarms
• Spindle-specific alarms
• Channel-specific alarms
Note
At POWER ON RESET (switching on control), all NC alarms are cancelled.
Note
The CANCEL alarms can be deleted in the associated operating area only.
Note
The PLC alarms are assigned error numbers 6000 to 9999. The alarm text,
alarm action and deletion conditions are configured by the machine
manufacturer.
Note
MMC alarms do not interrupt an active NC program. The alarms are
acknowledged automatically using the CLEAR softkey.
