You can choose the Print command from the File menu to print all or part of
an open file. This menu item is only activated when a printer is set up:
• Select the block of text to be printed if you only want to print part of the
file.
• Choose Print from the File menu. The "Print File" dialog box appears.

• Select the option "Selected Area" if you only want to print the selected text,
select "All" to print the complete file.
• Select the "OK" button.
Note
The above dialog box only appears if a block of text has been selected. If no
text is selected, the loaded file is simply output to the printer interface when
the Print command is chosen.
In the WEdit - General Options dialog box you can define whether WEdit
automatically creates a backup copy when saving a file. When the option is
selected, a backup copy is created every time an edited file is saved.
This backup copy can be loaded in the editor in place of the actual file:
• Select the Fetch Backup Copy command from the File menu.
You can also delete the backup copy:
• Select the Delete Backup Copy command from the File menu..
Machine manufacturer
The machine manufacturer can configure whether a dialog box appears or not
when a backup copy already exists.
