The PROGRAMMING/EDIT NC area is selected. The main program or
subroutine overview display has been called up.
Enter the name of the program whose access rights you want to change or
select the program with the cursor.
insert an access right with +X (executable program), or
remove an access right with -X (executable program).
A program has the following access rights:
MPF1 -rw-
I.e., MPF1 is read/write but cannot be processed.
Use the +X operator action and the MODIFY RIGHTS softkey to define MPF1
as follows:
MPF1 -rwx.
I.e., MPF1 can be selected for processing.
Note
The access rights are not saved on the hard disk with the SAVE function, i.e.
the selected access rights are deleted when the system is switched off.
Whenever a program is loaded from the hard disk it automatically receives the
rights -rwx (read, write, executable), regardless of the access rights the
program had when it was saved to the hard disk.
With cycles, the rights can be indicated in the LOADCYC instruction.
