2.2.1 Defining a dialog
Definition
A dialog is part of a user interface consisting of a display line, dialog elements and/or
graphics, an output line for messages and 8 horizontal and 8 vertical softkeys.
Dialog elements are:
● Variables
– Limits
– Default setting of variables
● Help display
● Texts
● Attributes
● System or user variable
● Position of short text
● Position of input/output field
● Colors
● Help (HMI Advanced only)
Dialog properties:

● Graphic
● Dimension
