OVERAGE AND ZONES
Zone 0 is the world wide coverage.
User subscribing to CM-93/3 database receives a new CD-ROM every four months. During one
subscription cycle i.e. one year the user receives three CD-ROM from C-MAP.
The user shall perform the installation of the database and use the same permits all along the
year for each new CD.
LICENSE STATUS
In ChartHandling dialogue the status of the installed license is displayed including:
• Zone or area ID
• Permits
• Expiry date for the permits
To renew the chart permits before expiry date send to MARIS an order for license renewal. A
renewal code will be sent back and entered using the button "Renew All Licenses".
CHART UPDATE
There are different possibilities to update C-MAP chart database

Update by CD
•
Update by Internet
(http connection)
• Update by Email
Copy Database function allows update other ECDIS station by LAN after Update is completed.
