End of track alarm
END OF TRACK ALARM
The alarm message is generated when the ship is arriving to the last waypoint of the active
route.
TCS ALARMS
STOP TRACK CONTROL
The alarm message is generated when the Track steering function is stopped due to the
reasons which make impossible to control ship by autopilot. It can be sensor failure or loosing
connection with autopilot.
LOW SPEED ALARM
The alarm message is generated when the ship speed is less than the user defined limit value
(

).
BACK UP NAVIGATOR ALARM
Navigator does not acknowledge course change alarm or End of Track alarm or Stop Track
Control alarm.
CHANGE TO MANUAL STEERING
With failure of heading sensor user is advised to switch autopilot mode to manual steering.
HARBOUR MODE
To suppress alarms (buzzer and external BAS) when vessel is in the harbour (berthing or
whatever) ecdis can be switched in so called Harbour mode. Alarms are disabled and chart
area is hidden by big panel indicating that ECDIS is OUT of navigation mode.
CTRL+H hot key is used to activate the function. Pressing the button on the harbour panel
revert system in the navigation mode.
