CHANGING THE WORKSTATION MODE (PLANNING OR MONITORING)
Right double click in the title bar and activate the menu Set as Planning station or Set as
Monitoring station.
To access to the module called
System Protection
that allows a password
protection of ECDIS900 operating, right double-click in the window title.
SYSTEM PROTECTION
Right double-click in the title of the main window and activate the menu System Protection.
PRINCIPLES
The user password is used to protect the most sensitive settings of ECDIS and Sensor
Monitor against any changes.
When ECDIS900 is installed, no password is predefined and the system is not protected.
To protect the system a user shall enter the appropriate password via the dialogue Change
user password.
TYPE APPROVED MODE
In Operational type approved mode the Windows file system is not accessible, the system
function keys are disabled..
When the administrator protection is activated via
Application Manager
, the change of ECDIS
mode requires entering the proper password.
