CHART SETTINGS
When a S57 chart is first displayed, the cell is displayed at the largest scale available in the
SENC for the displayed area and the standard display provided. When several cells appear on
the display the boundaries between cells are displayed.
The tab Presentation allows customizing the chart display according and the tab Safety
allows selecting the chart projection but also entering several safety depths values
dependant on the ship characteristics. These values are extremely important because they
will change the chart display and be used for the anti grounding calculation. The tab Special
Effects allows to select the options ENC/ARCS/AVCS seamless mode, flashing lights and
manual chart band usage.
