ABOUT MAIN WINDOW
The main window is divided into four different areas:

A typical ECDIS900 screen may look like this:
WINDOW TITLE
The window title shows the application name. The following information is also displayed in
the title:
• ECDIS mode: S57 HO ENC, RCDS or CMAP depending on which chart database is in use.
• When S57 ENC or C-MAP mode is active:
 Type of display: Base, Standard or All Display. By default Standard is selected. To change
the display mode see
Chart Settings
.
 Datum in use. WGS 1984 is by default in use.
 Type of projection: to change the projection see the
Chart Depth
section
 Battery charge
• When raster charts are in use:
 The name of the active chart
