Select Area
NORWEGIAN PILOT:
Right click on the icon to select Extended Standard and Norwegian presentation.
HOT KEY
Press Hot Key F7 to select the standard mode.
SELECT AREA
The Select area function allows the user to define chart areas and to select an area to be
displayed.
To select an area click on the Select area icon .
A chart area is defined by:
• Name
• Lat (latitude)
• Lon (longitude)
• Scale
CHANGE SELECTED AREA
To change the selected chart area either:
• Double-click on the area name or
• Click on the name and then click on the Set area button
• The chart is displayed at the selected scale and centred on the defined point
SET NEW DISPLAY AREA
• Move the chart to the desired position and select a scale.
• Click on the Select area icon.
