Point to point, range and bearing
POINT TO POINT, RANGE AND BEARING
To set two points at a fixed range and bearing from each other click on the Point to point,
range and bearing icon .
The cursor appears as a cross. Move it to the first desired position and click left to fix the point.
When the cursor is in motion, it has a circle attached to it plus the actual range and bearing
data, measured from the first point.
Move the cursor to the desired second position (range and bearing) and click left to fix the
second point.
REMARK Use the Object menu for removing a single VRM/EBL. To remove all VRM/EBL, press
the Del key or select the Clean chart function from the chart menu.
TARGET TO POINT, RANGE AND BEARING
To set a point at a fixed range and bearing from the target:
• Select the target with Right Click.
• Select EBL/VRM tool with left click.
The cursor appears as a cross with a circle attached to it plus the actual range and bearing
data, measured from the target position.
• Move the cursor to the desired position (range and bearing)
• Left click to fix the point. A new position can be defined
• Select the crossing line with circle
• Left click and drag.
