Checking the optimized route
Example: optimized route outside of New Foundland.
• Active route is displayed in RED, the calculated optimized route, displayed in
violet, is passing outside of safety contour (Grey bold line) but inside the 12 NM Canadian
coast guard reporting area which forces the Captain to send report. This situation can be
avoided by adding a user defined no go area out of 12 NM from shore.
