Alarm Message:
System Fail
(Monitor Isolated

or Monitor Isol System
Fail) or (Unable to
calibrate flow ADC) or
(Alarm controller Fail).
A hardware/software fault has
developed within the ventilator.
Remove patient to alternative form of
ventilation, then remove ventilator
from service.
Note alarm message and refer
ventilator to qualified service
personnel.
Faulty flow sensor
alarm.
Alarm Message: Faulty
Flow Sensor.
A flow sensor heated wire has broken. Remove sensor from patient circuit.
Discard the flow sensor.
Fit new flow sensor and recalibrate.
Refit sensor into patient circuit.
If no replacement sensor available
press “Continue without flow” and set
breath trigger sensitivity.
If message continues, remove patient
to alternative form of ventilation, then
remove ventilator from service.
Note alarm message and refer
ventilator to qualified service
personnel.
Connect flow sensor
alarm.
Alarm Message:
Connect Flow Sensor.
Flow sensor cable not connected to
ventilator.
If sensor connected, both heated wires
broken.
Connect flow sensor cable and
recalibrate flow sensor. Refit sensor
into patient circuit. If to be used
without sensor press “Continue
without flow” and set breath trigger
sensitivity.
Remove sensor from patient circuit.
Discard the flow sensor.
Fit new flow sensor and recalibrate.
Refit sensor into patient circuit.
If no replacement sensor available
press “Continue without flow” and set
breath trigger sensitivity.
Cannot calibrate flow
sensor alarm.
Alarm Message:
Flow Calibration Fail.
Flow sensor defective. Remove sensor from patient circuit.
Discard the flow sensor.
Fit new flow sensor and recalibrate.
Refit sensor into patient circuit.
If no replacement sensor available
press “Continue without flow” and set
breath trigger sensitivity.
Calibrate flow sensor
alarm.
Alarm Message:
Calibrate Flow Sensor.
New sensor connected to ventilator. Carry out calibration routine.
Fit sensor into patient circuit.
