10.6.10 Version Information Panel
The Version
button (O)
advances the user
to the Version
Information panel.
Displayed on this
panel are two buttons:
Monitor (P)
Controller (Q)
The panel also
displays the software
and hardware
versions of the
subsystems installed
in the ventilator.
The Return button
returns the user to the More Options panel.
10.6.11 Monitor Services
On pressing the
Monitor button
(P) the Monitor
services panel
will be displayed.
This panel
displays the Two
point O2
calibration button
(R) and the
software version numbers for the monitor
subsystem.
The Return button returns the user to the
Version Information panel.
10.6.12 Controller Services
On pressing the
Controller button
(Q) the Controller
services panel will
be displayed.
The controller
services panel
displays six
buttons.
Begin psv (S),
End psv (T),
Apnoea sup (U)
buttons, Monitor pressures button (V) (here shown
set to OFF), the HFO Mean compensation button
(W) (here shown set to ON, the default setting).
The Return button returns the user to the
Version Information panel.
End psv, Begin psv and Apnoea sup buttons (S, T &
U) send an internal pulse to mimic the Beginning
and End of a pressure supported breath or a back-
up breath. These pulses do not affect the operation
of the ventilator and are for ventilator diagnostics.
The Monitor Pressure button (V) toggles the top
waveform to show Fresh Gas pressures against
time or Blender input pressures against time. Off
shows the proximal airway pressure against time.
When the monitor pressure button is set to one of
the two options an error message is displayed
below the alarm window (Controller Not
Responding).
HFO Mean Compensation button (W) turns ON or
OFF the mean compensation in the HFO mode (the
default is ON). For a detailed description of HFO
Mean compensation see “HFO Mean
compensation” on page 69 of the Operational
Considerations chapter.
Note: See “Oxygen Calibration Routines” on
page 126 for information on the two point
oxygen sensor calibration.
Caution: The controller services should only
be used by Qualified Service Personnel.
Note: The controller services are locked and
require activation. (The activation can only be
carried out by qualified service personnel).
Warning: Do not use the ventilator clinically
when monitoring either Fresh Gas Pressures
or Blender Input Pressures via the controller
services panel.
Warning: Do not use the ventilator if the error
message CONTROLLER NOT RESPONDING
is displayed. Refer the ventilator to Qualified
Service Personnel.
