31.1.12 Mains Failure Alarm
Do not turn the ventilator off by using the rear power
switch.
Step 26. Disconnect
mains power by
switching off or
removing mains plug
from power socket.
This should initiate an audible / visual alarm. The
ventilator should continue to cycle.
Reconnect the mains power supply, the alarm
should cancel, but the visual alarm notification
should remain.
Press the reset button to clear the alarm
panel of the alarm notification.
31.1.13 Gas Supply Alarms
Step 27. Disconnect Air supply from wall outlet, an
audible / visual alarm should be activated.
Reconnect Air Supply, the alarm should cancel.
Step 28. Disconnect O
2
supply from wall outlet, an
audible / visual alarm should be activated.
Step 29. Disconnect Air supply from wall outlet
again. The “No Gas” audible/visual alarm should be
activated.
Reconnect O
2
supply, the alarm should cancel.
Reconnect Air Supply, the alarm should cancel.
Action: If the alarm is not triggered when the
mains power is disconnected, then remove
the ventilator from service and contact an
SLE approved engineer.
Warning: Disconnect the gas supplies from
the wall outlet only. DO NOT unscrew the
hose connections from the rear of the
ventilator.
Action: If any of these alarms fails to trigger
under alarm conditions, then check the mains
gas supply is fully open and providing gas. If
the gas supply is working correctly and the
alarm still fails to trigger, remove the
ventilator from service and contact an SLE
approved engineer.
