Oxygen calibration
failure.
Alarm Message:
Oxygen Calibration
Fail.
During the oxygen sensor calibration
the ventilator could not achieve a
reading of 100% oxygen.
Remove patient to alternative form of
ventilation, then remove ventilator
from service.
Note alarm message and refer
ventilator to qualified service
personnel.
Displayed percentage of
Oxygen below 21%.
Alarm Message:
Low Oxygen Level.
Oxygen sensor drifting. Remove patient to alternative form of
ventilation.
Carry out two point oxygen sensor
calibration. Check measured values
after calibration.
If value still below 21% after calibration
refer ventilator to qualified service
personnel.
Monitor/Display Comms
fail alarm.
Alarm Message:
Monitor/Display
Comms fail.
A hardware/software fault has
developed within the ventilator.
Remove patient to alternative form of
ventilation, then remove ventilator
from service.
Note alarm message and refer
ventilator to qualified service
personnel.
High or low pressure
alarm with fresh gas
cut off.
Pressure spike of
20mbar or greater
followed by no fresh gas.
Alarm Message:
High Pressure or Low
Pressure.
A hardware fault has developed within
the pneumatic unit of the ventilator.
a) Check the alarm thresholds are set
correctly.
b) Press the Reset button to restart
ventilation.
If the pressure spike is generated the
ventilator will cut all gases again.
c) Remove the patient immediately to
an alternative form of ventilation.
d) Remove the ventilator from service
and refer ventilator to qualified service
personnel.
