For the ISO 20065-16 standard, you can choose the measurement Mode: Auto
or Manual, and the maximum number of measurements (Number of Meas.).
In the Auto mode, the measurements are performed one by one without pauses
after pressing the <Start> key, until the number of measurements reaches the
Number of Meas. value.
In the Manual mode, the measurements are performed one by one by the user
pressing the <Start> key.
When the number of measurements reaches the Number of Meas. value, the
instrument automatically performs post-processing calculations.
If you want to continue measuring, please make sure the Number of Meas. value has previously been
increased. The maximum number of measurements in a specific folder can reach a maximum of 20.
Post-processing calculations are essential for the standard report, since the analysis of all measured files is
required for calculating the mean Audibility parameter and the Extended Uncertainty parameter.
All files with measurement results should be
saved in the dedicated directory, which
should be defined manually in the Directory
position through the File Manager.
To define the directory, press the â–º key to
enter the File Manager screen.
Then press <ENTER> on the
<New Directory> position and confirm the
automatically proposed directory name with
<ENTER> or press the â–º key to edit this
name.
If you already have previously created
directories, you can choose them.
In this case, all measurement will be loaded
to the instrument for viewing. You also will be
able to make more measurements. Just care
about Number of Meas., which should be
increased by the number of additional
measurements.
Note: The selection of the directory is important step. If the directory is not defined, the measurements
will not start.
You can change the Integration Period time in the General Settings screen
(path: <Menu> / Measurement / General Settings).
The Logger Name can be changed in the Logger Setup screen (path: <Menu>
/ Measurement / Logging / Logger Setup) before the first measurement in a new
folder. After the first measurement have been done, the logger’s name cannot
be changed manually. Every new measurement file name will be created
automatically and the name of the automatically created files will consist of the
first name plus measurement number.
