C.3.1 Specification of SV 977D as 1/1 and 1/3 octave analyser in the standard
configuration for vibration measurements
Note: Simultaneously to the frequency analysis, SV 977D operates as a Vibration Level Meter -
see Chapters C.1 for specification.
Configuration of the complete analyser
SV 977D sound & vibration level meter and analyser
ST 08 adapter (resistance 5.1 kOmh)
Normal operating mode
SV 977D in configuration with the ST 08 adapter with following settings: High or Low measurement range
(path: <Menu> / Measurement / Range – see Chapter
4.6), 1,5 mA IEPE current (path: <Menu> / Instrument
/ IEPE Current – see Chapter 7.5Error! Reference source not found.).
Signal input
● BNC type input throughout the ST 08 adapter
● Maximum input voltage: SV 977D meets the requirements IEC 348 for the 2
nd
class device. The input
voltage shall not exceed the limits between 0 V and +28 V
● Resistance: 5.1 kOmh
Digital Filters
High-pass filters: HP, HP1, HP3, HP10, HPE
Frequency weighting filters (filter includes Band Limiting filter): Wh - conforms to ISO 8041-1:2017
Integrating filters: Vel1, Vel3, Vel10, Dil1, Dil3, Dil10
Special filter: VelMF (filter for evaluation of the machinery condition) - conforms to ISO 10816

Linear operating ranges
Two measurement ranges are available: Low and High.
