STRONG PASSWORD TIPS
A maximum of 256 characters can be entered for the DOS-A50 Administrator
password. Due to the way passwords are encrypted, the most secure pass-
words are 7 or 14 characters long.
For a password to be strong, it should:
• Contain at least seven characters, including letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Be significantly different from prior passwords.
• Not contain a name or user name.
• Not be a common word or name.

CHANGING DOS-A50 DATE AND TIME
To change the DOS-A50 date and time values, perform the following steps:
1. Click Change Date and Time in the Properties panel.
The Change Date and Time on Base Unit screen displays.
2. Select the required date and time information from the drop-down menus,
specify the time zone, and select automatic daylight saving adjustments if
required. Click OK.
