62 Using Voicemail
The Automated Receptionist supplies the number of new messages and
saved messages available then plays the first new message recorded.
5. After listening to the message, the following options are available:
Repeat—press 1 to replay the previous message.
Continue—press 3 to proceed to the next message or return to the main
voicemail menu if there are no further messages.

OTE: If no new messages remain, the first saved message is played.
Delete—press 7 to delete the current message.
Save—press 9 to save the message.

RETRIEVING VOICEMAIL FROM AN EXTERNAL NUMBER
To access voicemail from an external number, perform the following steps:
1. Dial the PSTN number to call.
2. After the Automated Receptionist answers, say Voicemail or use the key-
pad to dial 886.
3. Follow steps 2 through 5 in Retrieving Voicemail in the Office on page 61.
3.7.3 Configuring Voicemail Options
To configure voicemail options, perform the following steps:
1. Lift the handset and press the voicemail button,
OR
Press the voicemail button for hands-free operation.
2. A standard voicemail greeting is supplied prompting the user to enter their
password or press the * key to check voicemail for a different extension.
3. Enter the password (default: 9999) to enter the main menu.
4. Press 2 to enter the Change Your Settings menu.
There are six options within the Personal Options menu:
Listen to Personal Greeting—press 1 to review the personal greeting
message for the current user.

OTE: If no custom message is recorded, the Automated Receptionist Greeting
is used.
