3.8 Voicemail to E-mail Forwarding
Voicemail to e-mail is an extension of the voicemail service providing another
point of access for messages. When enabled, voicemail to e-mail sends an
alert e-mail to the target user including a WAV file attachment containing the
recorded voicemail message.
This function is especially useful for mobile users with no access to Response
Point’s regular voicemail service.
3.8.1 Configuring E-mail Server Information
To configure the E-mail server and user account, perform the following steps:
1. From the Base Unit tab, click Configure E-mail Server in the Properties
panel or Summary panel.
