WATER SEPARATOR REMOVAL/
INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
• Before removing the water separator, place a shop
towel under each tube and water separator, clamp
the two fuel tubes with commercially available tube
clamps, and then disconnect the fuel tubes.
Clamp fuel tube A [1] and fuel tube B [2] securely with
the two commercially available tube clamps [3].
Disconnect fuel tube A and fuel tube B from the water
separator [4].
Remove the water separator [1] and the strainer
suspension [2] as a set from the relay bracket [3].
Remove the suspension from the water separator cup.
Open the harness clip [1] and release the water level
sensor wire [2].
Release the water level sensor wire from clip C [3].
Disconnect the water level sensor 2P connector [4].
