PREPARATION BEFORE MEASUREMENT
CHECKING THE MEASURING NOZZLE
Before TONO/PACHY measurement, a check of the measuring nozzle is required.
1 Remove the intraocular pressure measuring window cap.
2 Check if there is any foreign matter on and around the measuring nozzle. If there is any, turn
OFF the POWER switch, clean it off and then turn ON the POWER switch.

MEASURING NOZZLE” on page 117.
CAUTION
Before measuring, check if there is any foreign matter on and
around the measuring nozzle. If there is any, it may enter and
damage the patient's eye during the measurement.
NOTE
• When attaching and removing the intraocular pressure measuring window
cap, do not apply any load to the measuring nozzle.
• If strong force is applied to the measuring nozzle, the measuring nozzle
may bend.
