Irrigation Pump Head and Gear Motor
Irrigation Pump Head and Gear Motor
Accessing the irrigation pump head requires removing the irrigation
pump bezel; accessing the irrigation pump gear motor requires removing
the bezel and the panel behind it. The following procedures describe how
to remove and re-install the irrigation pump bezel, head, and gear motor.
Tools Needed
You will need the following tools:
+ Phillips head screwdriver.
e Slotted blade screwdriver
ο. 7mm nut driver
e 3/32 in. Hex key or Allen wrench.
Remove the Irrigation Pump Bezel
1. Turn off the AC Main Switch, located on the rear panel.
2. Unplug the power cord connector from the wall receptacle.
3. Open the irrigation pump latch half way so that the latch lever stands
at the 12 o’clock position.
4. Four ball-end retainers hold the irrigation pump bezel in place.
Remove the pump bezel by pulling it straight forward. Refer to
Figure 11-29,
