Preparing the CUSA EXcel Console for Use
Valleylab ships the CUSA EXcel system in two boxes. The large box
contains the following items:
* Console
ο Footswitch
e In-service kit
* Contamination guard
e Service manual
e Dust cover.
The small box contains several other items:
e User's guides
e Reference card set
e Instructions for installing reference card set in the console control
panel
+ Tip card.
On the CUSA Excel console, Valleylab provides the following items:
e Common European power connector
e 220 to 240V, T5A, time delay fuses
e International (symbols only) control panel overlay ~ installed.
Before shipping, Valleylab includes, but does not install, a reference card
set.
If your facility uses a different power connector or receives 95 to 120 V
power, you need to make the appropriate changes to the system:
+ Replace the power connector.
e Change the fuses.
If your facility has ordered an English language kit, replace the
international control panel overlay and reference card set.
