Unpacking the CUSA EXcel System
The CUSA EXcel system arrives in a corrugated cardboard crate strapped
to a wood shipping pallet. The corrugated cardboard crate has several
components:
* Abottom, larger section contains the CUSA EXcel console and foam
packing cushions.
+ A tray, inserted into the top of the crate and supported by the top of
the crate walls, contains the footswitch, contamination guards (2),
service manual, inservice kit, and dust cover.
e Alid covers the crate/tray assembly.
Tools You Will Need
e Utility knife
+ Pliers (optional).
Unpacking Procedure
1. Cut the vertical bands on
the shipping crate.
Remove the bands.
Note: Save the box edge
protectors for use when
shipping the system.
2. Lift the lid and the tray 一
from the crate.
Remove the contents
from the tray, then put
the tray aside.
