Tools/Equipment Needed for Calibrations
The calibrations require one or more of the following tools:
DC Bias Power Supply
Tachometer
Irrigation bottle with fluid and administration set
Digital multimeter, Fluke 87 or equivalent
Vacuum gauge with T fitting and hose, 0-30 in. Hg
Ashcroft 5 in. Dial-Grade 3A 0.25% or equivalent
Suction canister
Contamination guard
Slotted blade screwdriver
Phillips screwdriver.
. Leave all power off.
Remove the rear panel.
Put DVM leads between pins 1 and 6 of the output jack on the DC bias
power supply. You will find it on the AC input assembly (facing the
rear of the console, you see it on the left side of the assembly).
Turn on the AC Main Switch (rear panel) and the System Power Switch
(front panel).
Adjust the potentiometer to 4.7 Vdc (-0 + 0.05).
Turn off the System Power Switch (front panel) and the AC Main
Switch (rear panel).
. Apply Torque Seal compound (Valleylab part number 232 301 176) to
the adjustment screw of the potentiometer.
