Press the <Strg> + <a><x> kex combination to terminate minicom.
In order that the backspace key functions properly, the option "Backspace
sends Del(ete)“ needs to be set. In minicom, this is done via the <Strg> +
<a><t><b> key combination.
In the Windows operating systems Hyperterminal is the recommended
program for the serial terminal communication. The following figure shows
the required settings.
