USER RELAYS - PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE
Table 9. User-Programmable User Relays - Funcon Opons
No Name Descripon
14 Gate nearing full travel
output
Acvated when gate is approaching full open or full closed.
Relay acvates three feet from where soware expects limit
switch to be triggered whether moving toward full open, full
close, or in a reverse travel mode. This output is used to reduce
the sensivity of a proximity sensor near the ends of gate travel.
15 Gate Failure output Acvated to report occurrence of a problem. Indicates the system
is in an Error Mode, Fault Mode or Entrapment Mode. If acve, the
gate is disabled.
16 Motor Running output Acve when the motor is running and the gate is in moon.
17 AC Power Failure output This relay is normally energized and drops with loss of AC power.
18 DC Power Failure output Acvated when the baery power is very low, but the output ceases
when the baery is dead. The relay is triggered when the baery is
less than 20 volts.
19 Flasher Relay Controls ashing lights that pulse once per second. The relay is
constantly acvang except when the open limit switch is triggered.
Recommended to use User Relay 2 since it is an electronic switch.
20 Free Exit Loop Vehicle
Detector output
Acve whenever the Exit Loop is tripped.
21 Inside Obstrucon
Vehicle Detector output
Acvated when the Inside Obstrucon Vehicle Detector is tripped.
22 Center Loop Detector
output
Acvated when the Center Loop Detector is tripped. Since this
input is not used for a sliding gate, User Relay 22 can be used in
combinaon with a detector to perform the funcon of an arming
loop detector because there is no associated gate control logic.
23 External Latching Gate
Lock output
Not funconal in the Kinec operator.
24 Gate at Paral Open
Posion
Acve when the paral open posion is reached or exceeded.
