USER RELAYS - PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE
Table 9. User-Programmable User Relays - Funcon Opons
No Name Descripon
14 Gate nearing full travel
output
Acvated when gate is approaching full open or full closed.
Relay acvates three feet from where soware expects limit
switch to be triggered whether moving toward full open, full
close, or in a reverse travel mode. This output is used to reduce
the sensivity of a proximity sensor near the ends of gate travel.
15 Gate Failure output Acvated to report occurrence of a problem. Indicates the system
is in an Error Mode, Fault Mode or Entrapment Mode. If acve, the
gate is disabled.
16 Motor Running output Acve when the motor is running and the gate is in moon.
17 AC Power Failure output This relay is normally energized and drops with loss of AC power.
18 DC Power Failure output Acvated when the baery power is very low, but the output ceases
when the baery is dead. The relay is triggered when the baery is
less than 20 volts.
19 Flasher Relay Controls ashing lights that pulse once per second. The relay is
constantly acvang except when the open limit switch is triggered.
Recommended to use User Relay 2 since it is an electronic switch.
20 Free Exit Loop Vehicle
Detector output
Acve whenever the Exit Loop is tripped.
21 Inside Obstrucon
Vehicle Detector output
Acvated when the Inside Obstrucon Vehicle Detector is tripped.
22 Center Loop Detector
output
Acvated when the Center Loop Detector is tripped. Since this
input is not used for a sliding gate, User Relay 22 can be used in
combinaon with a detector to perform the funcon of an arming
loop detector because there is no associated gate control logic.
23 External Latching Gate
Lock output
Not funconal in the Kinec operator.
24 Gate at Paral Open
Posion
Acve when the paral open posion is reached or exceeded.
