SmartDC Controller Troubleshoong
This secon is available to help you troubleshoot any problems that may occur with the Kinec operator.
It provides informaon about the SmartDC Controller display codes.
The SmartDC Controller system includes many self-diagnoscs. Specic messages appear on the LCD and
the Audio Alert buzzer sounds disncve chirps. Any alerts, faults or errors are also logged into memory
and date/me stamped. For diagnosc purposes these messages can be retrieved with oponal S.T.A.R.T.
soware available from Wallace Perimeter Security. Refer to “Smart Touch Analyze and Retrieve Tool
(S.T.A.R.T.)” on page 171.
The following Table 12 provides soluons to the error codes, faults, and alerts that may appear on the
SmartDC Controller display.
