VIEWING OPERATOR STATUS DISPLAYS
Viewing Operator Status Displays
Press the MENU buon once and the operator status displays appear in two second intervals. Pernent
informaon appears to provide a quick overview of the operators status or conguraons. Refer to
Figure 27 below.
Variables
The soware version and revision
number are hard-coded in the
SmartDC Controller.
PRIMARY or SECONDARY
(This display only appears when the
operator is used in bi-parng gate
systems.)
OT 15 = Kinec DC15W [Kinec 1] at
1/s;
OT 16 = Kinec DC10FW [Kinec 2]
at 2/s
LEFT or RIGHT
1, 2, 3, or 4
Note: OT 16 only accepts Usage Class
3 and 4.
0 = 8Ah (standard factory issue)
1 = 50Ah (oponal upgrade)
2 = 110Ah (opon)
Number varies depending on the
voltage that the charger is providing.
One cycle equals a full open and
close sequence. Paral cycles are not
counted.
The rst menu item in the User
Menu. See “USER MENU” on page
89.
Descripon
This display appears only when you press RESET
or cycle the power. It displays the soware version
which is useful as a maintenance tool.
Indicates, in a dual gate seng, whether the
operator is set to Primary or Secondary. The seng
is assigned in the Installer Menu.
Indicates and idenes the operator and charger
type.
Designates which way a gate opens viewed from
the operator. If it slides to the le, it is a le-hand
gate. Gate handing is established in the inial
Setup Menu.
Displays the operators Usage Class designaon
per UL 325 standards. Refer to “Idenfying Gate
Operator Category and Usage Class” on page
27.
Conrms the operator’s baery type. If you use
the larger capacity baeries you must congure
the operator through the Installer Menu. See
“BATTERY TYPE” on page 108.
Displays the actual charging voltage.
Displays the number of cycles the gate operator
has incurred. Similar to an odometer, it resets to
zero aer 999,999 cycles.
Note: You can also access the Installer Menu from
this display. See “Installer Menu” on page 98.
Displays the number of seconds before the open
gate iniates.
