Notes on troubleshooting
•
Use the state of the LINK LEDs to check whether there is a connection to the Ethernet.
•
Check that the pin assignment of the used cable is correct.
•
Make sure that the gateway is installed right next to the controller module and that no mo-
re than 2 samosPRO gateways are connected. Also ensure that next to the gateways only
a maximum of 12 i/o expansion modules are connected.
•
Check whether the RJ 45 connectors are engaged by gently pulling on the EtherCAT
connection cables.
In case of high mechanical load, secure the RJ45 cable with a tension relief.
