16) Attach the shackle (94019L, Fig. 3) to
the column.
17) Attach the manual ratchet (94016-015)
to the shackle (94019L) on the column.
18) Attach the manual ratchet (94016-015)
to the working platform (94143).
WARNING
Injury Hazard: Before you
operate the turning gear,
make sure that no
personnel are on the
platform or near the
flywheel.
19) Use the manual ratchet (94016-015) to
lift the working platform (94143) from
the crankshaft.
20) Operate the turning gear to slowly turn
the crank until the connecting rod with
the working platform (94144) can be
lifted from the crankshaft.
21) Stop operating the turning gear when
the crosshead pin with the platform are
on the comfortable working high.
22) Step on the working platform (94144,
Fig. 3) and attach the four lifting eye
bolts (94045-M56, Fig. 4) to the
cylinder block (1).
23) Use the spur-geared chain blocks
(94017-004, Fig. 2) and the shackles
(94019L) to lift the bracket (94322B,
Fig. 4).
24) Attach the two hooks (2) of the bracket
(94322B) to the two lifting eye bolts
(94045-M56).
25) Attach the two top hooks of the
spur-geared chain blocks (94017-040,
Fig. 5) to the two lifting eye bolts
(94045-M56).
26) Attach the spur-geared chain block
(94017-051) to the bracket (94322B) as
shown in Fig. 5.
27) Attach the shackles (94019P, Fig.7) to
the lugs on the column on fuel side.
28) Attach the hooks of the two
spur-geared chain blocks (94017-040,
Fig. 5) to the two shackles (94019P).
29) Use the turning gear to turn the crank
of the related cylinder to BDC.
30) Remove the working platform (94144,
Fig. 3).
