6) Use the M16 eye bolt (1, Fig. 5) to
move the spindle (2) up.
7) Attach the spindle press 94551 to the
lower housing (3).
8) Use the eye bolt (1) to carefully lift the
lower housing (4) together with the
guide piston (3), the lower spring
carrier (5) and the pump plunger (8).
Note: If you cannot remove the pump
plunger (8), refer to 5556−2.
9) Remove the compression spring (6).
10) Remove the screw (7).
11) Remove the pump plunger (8) from the
lower spring carrier (5) and put it into a
safe area.
12) Remove the circlip (13) and push the
retaining ring (12) down.
13) Hold the lower spring carrier (5) and
remove the connection pins (10).
14) Remove the lower spring carrier (5).
15) Put the lower housing on a suitable
underlay and remove spindle press
