2. Removal
CAUTION
Damage Hazard: Make sure
that you do not damage
the sealing faces or the HP
fuel pipes.
1) Remove the applicable pipe brackets
(3, 8 Fig. 1).
2) Remove the four screws (3, Fig. 5)
from the flange (2).
3) Carefully move the flange (2) away
from the connecting block (1).
4) Remove the four screws (2, Fig. 6)
from the flange (1).
5) Carefully move the flange (2) up.
CAUTION
Injury Hazard: The weight
of the HP fuel pipe is
approximately 36 kg. Use
approved equipment or
sufficient personnel to lift
and move the HP fuel pipe.
6) Carefully remove the HP fuel pipe (3).
7) Apply protection to the sealing
faces (SF) to prevent damage and
contamination.
