Error Messages and Codes
Error code: 00E1
Definition: Received incorrect response after sending PPS_NULL.
Solution:
1. Resend the fax.
2. Print out the protocol report, and provide it to Technical Support for analysis.
Error code: 00E2
Definition: No response received in RR response procedure after sending
PPS_NULL.
Solution:
1. Check the phone line for noise, and if necessary, replace the telephone line or
contact your Telecom Service Provider.
2. Boost the TX Level of sender's machine.
3. Boost the machine TX Level.<*1>
4. Print out the protocol report, and provide it to Technical Support for analysis.
Error code: 00E4
Definition: At phase-D, transmitting units out PPS_MPS 3 times consecutively
but receive no answer.
Solution:
1. Check the phone line for noise, and if necessary, replace the telephone line or
contact your Telecom Service Provider.
2. Boost the TX Level of sender's machine.
3. Boost the machine TX Level.<*1>
4. Print out the protocol report, and provide it to Technical Support for analysis.
Error code: 00E5
Definition: Received incorrect response after sending PPS_MPS.
Solution:
1. Resend the fax
