Interface Module
The Interface Module provides communication, an aligned paper path between the
print engine and the attached finishing device, and the decurling of the paper as it
exits the print engine.
Important
The Interface Module is required with many of the finishing devices; this depends on
the system configuration and which finishing devices are attached.
Interface Cooling Module
The Interface Cooling Module provides the same functions as the Interface Module.
In additional to these functions, the Interface Cooling Module also provides the added
feature of cooling the printed media as it passes through the paper path by using
additional fans and associated duct work. The module is also equipped with an internal
spectrophotometer.
