Overview
These two finishers provide the following capabilities:
• The Standard Finisher provides high capacity stacking (up to 3,000 sheets),
bidirectional decurling, along with finishing capabilities such as preprinted inserts,
hole punching and folding.
• The Booklet Maker provides all of the same features of the Standard Finisher and
also automatically creates saddle-stitched booklets of up to 25 sheets. This device
offers hole punching, stapling and bifold options.
1. Interface Module or Interface Cooling Module: Both finishers require one of these
modules. The module acts as a communication device and as a paper path between
the press and the Standard Finisher or the Booklet Maker Finisher.
2. Standard Finisher or Booklet Maker Finisher: The Booklet Maker Finisher is shown
in the above illustration. For the remainder of this chapter, both the Standard Finisher
or Booklet Maker Finisher are referred by the generic term of "finisher."
