same line to be sure the call is forwarded to the extension telephone or answering
machine plugged into the EXT socket.
Defaults
1. Press Machine Status on the control panel.
2. Press the up/down arrows to highlight Fax Setup and press OK.
3. Enter the Administrator’s Password using the keypad. Refer to Accessing the Setup Options on
page 128 for instructions.
4. Press the up/down arrows to highlight Defaults and press OK.
The following fax Defaults options and settings are available:
Note: * indicates the factory default setting.
5. Press the up/down arrows to highlight the option required and press OK.
6. Press the up/down arrows to highlight the setting required and press OK to save the selection.
7. Continue customizing the fax Defaults as required, then press Stop to return to ready mode.
Auto Report
You can set the machine to print a report with detailed information about the previous 50
communication operations, including time and dates.
1. Press Machine Status on the control panel.
2. Press the up/down arrows to highlight Fax Setup and press OK.
3. Enter the Administrator’s Password using the keypad. Refer to Accessing the Setup Options on
page 128 for instructions.
4. Press the up/down arrows to highlight Auto Report and press OK.
5. Press the up/down arrows to highlight Yes to automatically print a report, or No to switch off the
feature. Press OK.
6. Press Stop to return to ready mode.
