CHECKING THE RADIATOR
1. Check:
• radiator fins
Obstruction

Clean.
Apply compressed air to the rear of the
radiator.
Damage

Repair or replace.
NOTE:
Straighten any flattened fins with a thin, flathe-
ad screwdriver.
2. Check:
• radiator hoses
• radiator pipes
Cracks/damage

Replace.

CHECKING THE WATER PUMP
1. Check:
• crankcase cover (right) 
• water pump cover 
• impeller 
• pin 
• o-ring 
• water pump drive pulley 
• water pump seal 
Cracks/damage/wear

Replace.
• circlip 
2. Check:
• bearings 
Rough movement

Replace.










