DISASSEMBLING THE SECONDARY
SHEAVE
1. Remove:
• nut  (secondary sheave)
NOTE:
Hold the secondary sheave with a sheave hol-
der  to loosen the nut.
2. Remove:
• clutch drum 
• secondary sheave 
• crankcase cover gasket
• dowel pins
3. Attach:
• sheave holder 
• nut spanner  (41 mm)
4. Loosen:
• clutch securing nut
CAUTION:
Do not remove the clutch positioning nut
yet.
5. Attach:
• clutch spring compressor 
6. Remove:
• clutch securing nut 
7. Remove:
• clutch assembly 
• secondary sheave spring 
• spring seat 
• guide pins
• secondary sliding sheave
