STARTER CLUTCH AND GEARS
1. Inspect:
• starter clutch
Press the conical pin in the direction of the
arrow.
Unsmooth operaton

Replace starter
clutch assembly
2. Inspect:
• starter wheel gear teeth 
• idle gear teeth 
Burrs/Spalling/Non-uniformity/Wear

Replace
• bearing  (starter wheel gear)
Pitting/Damage

Replace
