REMOVING THE REAR WHEEL
1. Remove:
rear wheel
Refer to “REMOVING THE REAR WHEEL”
in chapter 7
brake shoes
flat washer
EAS00222
REMOVING THE CYLINDER HEAD AND
CYLINDER
1. Remove:
cylinder covers (CS50 only)
carburator coolant hoses (CS50Z only)
cylinder head
cylinder head gasket
NOTE:
Before loosening the cylinder head, loosen
the spark plug .
The position nuts of the cylinder head
should be loosened by 1/2 a turn each time
and then removed.
2. Remove:
coolant hose (on cylinder) (CS50Z only)
cylinder
cylinder gasket
REMOVING THE PISTON PIN AND PISTON
1. Remove:
piston pin clip
NOTE:
Before removing the piston pin clip, cover the
crankcase with a clean cloth so that it does not
accidentally fall into the crankcase.
