INSTALLING THE HANDLEBAR
1. Stand the scooter on a level surface.

WARNING
Securely support the scooter so that there
is no danger of it falling over.
2. Install:
handlebar
NOTE:
Align the slot a on the steering with the pin on
the handlebar.
3. Tighten:
handlebar securing nut
4. Install:
right handlebar switch
throttle cable
throttle grip
NOTE:
Lubricate the inside of the throttle grip with a
thin coat of lithium-soap-based grease and
install it onto the handlebar.
NOTE:
Align the projection on the right handlebar
switch with the hole on the handlebar.

WARNING
Make sure the throttle grip operates smo-
othly.
5. Fasten:
wire harness
(fixed to steering head with a strap )
6. Adjust:
throttle cable free play
Refer to “ADJUSTING THE THROTTLE
CABLE FREE PLAY” in chapter 3.
42.5 Nm (4.25 m • kg)
Throttle cable free play (at the
flange of the throttle grip)
2 ~ 5 mm
