PIN BEARING
1. Check:
• piston pin
Blue discoloration/grooves

Replace the
piston pin and then check the lubrication
system.
2. Measure:
• piston pin outside diameter

Replace the piston
pin.
3. Calculate:
• piston-pin-to-piston clearance
Out of specification

Replace the piston
pin and piston as a set.
4. Inspect:
• bearing (piston pin)
Pitting/Damage

Change
Piston pin outside diameter
9.996 ~ 10.000 mm
Piston-pin-to-piston clearance
0.004 ~ 0.017 mm
<Limit>: 0.07 mm
